Elijah Helps A Widow Coloring Page
Elijah aids a widow with a coloring page. The book tells the story of a young girl who was only six when her father was murdered. In her grief she never thought she would one day sit down and color for an entire week.
As she did she started to understand what she called "colored paper." After a while she realized that this was her "gift," the gift she has always craved for. She felt healed, spiritually, emotionally.
That's when she decided to share this with others, hoping they would use it and benefit just as she has. She shared it with her best friend, Eloise. They admired her gift so much they invested in it too. So Elijah's mother gave her the book as a gift.
The book is full of beautiful pictures. You'll be very entertained as you color. There are many fun things to color and you'll not get bored! The book contains eight pages of fun activities. Some of them include:
"Make me equal" a game in which you color the letters of the alphabet to make words fit into each other. This is a great activity for two or more people. Elijah can draw the letters and Eloise can color. You both get to keep the finished work and then decide who gets to keep the next one.
"Elijah the Explorer" is about a boy who loves to explore. On this page you'll see a drawing of a wild jungle creature. It is colorful and has great details. The picture is taken from a storybook. You will enjoy coloring the jungle creature and seeing how Elijah captures the animals he meets along the way. This is a great page to color for a girl who loves to read and to feel as if she is part of the story.
The last free coloring page is " Samson the Magnificent" which is a full-color, illustrated, faithful recreation of a scene straight out of the Book of Samson. You'll see the lion, the chariot, the princess and the two children, looking at the world through the eyes of Samson. This is an excellent coloring page for both boys and girls. There are many patterns available for this one and it is fun to color.
All of these coloring pages come with full coloring instructions. You can work at your own pace and create your own pictures. That is what makes it so good! You have a lot of fun coloring and will not be bored easily. As a result, you will find yourself wanting to color more of the books in the series.
So, how much should you pay for a coloring page? Generally you will pay about 30 cents each for most of the Eliahnarain coloring pages that you find online. However, some sites offer free coloring pages and may charge a few dollars for them. You may also find some sites that offer a page for free but require you to email them your finished work, which obviously costs more than a coloring page with a fee.
The advantage to using free coloring pages is that you can try different ones until you find one that works well. It also allows you to make copies of some of the patterns for future use. For example, you may have already colored a nursery rhyme cover that you want to use for a bedding project. You can search for that pattern online or look through a book at your local coloring store to find one. Copy the pattern and then use free coloring pages to do a dry rub on the pattern so that you can use it as a felt board or other home project to create something new.
Another good site for free coloring pages is MySpace. They offer many free picture frames that you can color. The great thing about MySpace is that you get to choose pictures that you want to color, not just ones that someone else sent you. This is a great way to keep you child active and interested in coloring.
For older children, there are coloring pages available through the Microsoft Office Online program. This allows you to print free pictures from anywhere in the world. In addition to that, it also allows you to edit the picture as you wish. This is the ultimate in coloring sheets--you get to be in charge. This is one site that you shouldn't overlook when trying to find coloring pages to help your child learn to color.
